The dish was called: “Royally style cutlets.” There is a similar snack recipe called “Warsaw style”. Okay, it's not about the title at all. And the fact is that it is truly delicious. I won’t bore you, I’ll tell you:

Chopped liver cutlets

One of the most popular recipes among modern housewives is the recipe for chopped liver cutlets. You don’t even have to use a meat grinder or blender for it; a sharp and easy-to-use knife will be enough.

What ingredients will you need?

For the dish you need to take:

  • fresh beef liver – 670-700 g;
  • large eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • sour cream – 2-2.5 tbsp. l.;
  • starch (corn/potato) and flour - 2 tbsp each. l;
  • salt, oil and spices.

As a spice, you should definitely use black pepper. You can also use granulated garlic.

Step-by-step cooking process

The cooking process includes several stages:

  1. It's worth starting with the liver. To make it convenient to work with, the offal must first be placed in the freezer for a while and allowed to freeze slightly. Next, cut into small cubes. The optimal size of each is approximately 1 by 1 cm.

  2. Add salt and selected spices to the resulting pieces of liver and mix thoroughly.
  3. Separately, beat all raw eggs until light foam appears. They must be mixed first with sour cream, and only then with the liver prepared in the last step.
  4. After the next stirring, it is better to put the mass in a cool place for a couple of hours so that the ingredients are saturated with spices and the offal becomes softer and more tender.
  5. Next, you need to add the remaining dry ingredients - flour and selected starch. After mixing, the mass will be completely ready for frying.
  6. Place the cutlets in a frying pan with hot oil using a large spoon. Do not fry the tortillas for a long time, otherwise they will turn out hard.

The finished treat should be laid out on paper napkins to remove excess fat.

Serve the resulting cutlets deliciously hot with your favorite side dish. For example, you can mix boiled rice with fried green beans, garlic and canned sweet corn.

  6. All that remains is to place the cutlets in a large saucepan or pan (with a thick bottom and walls) in layers, alternating with portions of the sauce.
