How to cook a roast in a slow cooker? If you plan to use goose meat, then the recipe below will come in handy. You will need vegetables (2 pieces each of onions and carrots), a goose carcass (3-4 kg). You also need seasonings and salt. Chop the washed goose carcass into portions, sprinkle with seasonings and salt. Peel the onions and carrots, chop them, place them in a bowl, lightly add salt and season. Place the fattest pieces of poultry on top, followed by the rest of the meat in the next layer. Add a little water (the meat should protrude 3 cm above its level). Cook for 1 hour (Stew).
Preparation:
- Peel all vegetables, rinse meat under cold water. Cut the carrots into slices, peppers into strips, potatoes into medium cubes, mushrooms into cubes, pass the garlic through a press.
- Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the multicooker bowl, set the “Frying” or “Baking” mode and fry the pork until golden brown.
- Add garlic to the meat and fry together for a couple of minutes. Then add carrots and peppers and continue frying. Add the mushrooms last and fry for another 5 - 7 minutes.
- Place canned peas and potatoes in the slow cooker. Salt and pepper to taste and add bay leaf. Mix everything, close the lid and turn on the “Stew” mode. Cook the roast until the end of the program. After the beep, add chopped herbs to the multicooker and stir.
- Serve the roast with a fresh vegetable salad, olive oil, lemon juice, a spoonful of soy sauce and a splash of balsamic vinegar.
Recipe for delicious roast pork with potatoes
Let's get straight to cooking. Below you will find a list of necessary ingredients; you can use spices according to your taste:
- pork - 500 gr.
- potatoes - 1 kg
- carrots - 200 gr.
- onion - 100 gr.
- cabbage - 250 gr.
- sour cream - 100 gr.
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp.
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.
- coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- seasoning for meat - 0.5 tsp.
- sugar - 0.5 tsp.
- salt pepper
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.
- boiling water - 160 ml
1.Start cooking by turning on the multicooker. Pour 3 tbsp into it. oil and select the “Frying” mode.
2.While the bowl is heating, cut the meat into small cubes so that it has time to cook. I have a ham, but you can use any part of the carcass.
3.Place the pork pieces into the heated oil and fry until the liquid evaporates, stirring occasionally. It took me 20 minutes. Just during this time you need to peel the vegetables and prepare them for stewing.
4.Cut the onion into cubes and the carrots into fairly large strips.
If you chop carrots finely or grate them, they will be overcooked and turn into mush. And the result will not be a very presentable dish.
5.When all the liquid has evaporated from the meat, add chopped vegetables to it. Stir and fry for another 10 minutes. It turns out that the “Frying” mode will only work for half an hour.
6.Cut the potatoes into small cubes so that they do not boil too much, but remain whole.
7. Chop the cabbage thinly, as for regular stewing.
8. All that remains is to prepare the filling. This is done in literally a minute. Place in one container tomato paste (1 tbsp), sour cream (100 g), sugar (0.5 tsp), coriander (0.5 tsp), meat seasoning (0.5 tsp), salt and pepper.
A small amount of sugar is needed to balance the acidity of the tomato paste.
9.Pour this with one multi-cup of boiling water (160 ml). And mix thoroughly so that the sour cream and salt and sugar crystals dissolve.

A simple recipe - roast in a slow cooker with mushrooms, will allow you to prepare a hearty dinner for the whole family. Take 500 g of pork and champignons, 1-1.5 kg of potatoes. You will also need onions and carrots (2 pcs. and 1 pc., respectively), seasonings, oil and water.
Cut the washed meat into cubes, champignons into slices, and onions into cubes. Heat the oil (Baking), add the meat, fry for about a quarter of an hour.
