  • Half a chicken breast
  • 220 g ham,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 150 g cheese (cheddar, parmesan or other hard cheese),
  • 3-4 tbsp. spoons of homemade mayonnaise,
  • salt to taste

Place the chicken fillet in a saucepan and cover with water, lightly salt and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, cover and cook over medium heat for about 40 minutes. If you wish, you can bake the fillet in the oven. When ready, cool the fillet and divide into thin strips.

Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, cool under running cold water. Cut into small cubes.

Cooking rules

Ham for salads is suitable boiled or smoked. At home, you can prepare boiled-baked ham. To do this, buy a suitable piece of meat, wash it, pour cold water with spices and leave for several hours. Then the future ham is boiled in brine for 1 hour.

Take out the boiled meat, wrap it in foil and bake in the oven for about half an hour. Once cooked, the ham is cooled slowly. Homemade ham differs in taste from store-bought ham, but does not contain harmful additives. The meat turns out to be dietary, such ham can be given even to children.

Most salad recipes use hard cheeses (Gouda, Cheddar). Some salads add soft cheese (Mozzarella, Brie, Camembert).

To make most of the recipes described in this article, you just need to buy, chop and mix the ingredients. Therefore, salads with ham and cheese are fast, satisfying and very tasty.

But after reading it again, you understand that, in principle, the products are similar and one can be replaced with another. The original recipe includes gherkins - why not small pickled cucumbers? And replace boiled-smoked ham with ordinary boiled ham. These two types of ham are considered a product of mass consumption and are affordable, so the replacement will be equivalent. This potato salad has a very interesting dressing. The base is thick mayonnaise. It is diluted with cucumber marinade and grainy mustard is added. Judging by the rational use of products, Danish housewives are as savvy as ours, and even find use for cucumber pickle. Serve the potato and ham salad 15-20 minutes after cooking, so that it steeps a little and the potatoes are soaked in the dressing. The best addition to it would be green onions and fresh bread.   • 200 g boiled ham;
  • 200 g Gouda cheese;
  • 100 g walnuts;
  • half a bunch of parsley;
  • 100 g mayonnaise;
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Three ham and cheese on a fine grater. Place the nuts in a dry, hot frying pan and heat for a couple of minutes. Cool, chop very finely or grind with a blender. Place all the prepared products in a bowl, squeeze the garlic through a press, add mayonnaise. Mix and serve.

Cheese salad with pancakes and bell pepper

A beautiful presentation will not leave the salad unnoticed on the festive and everyday table. The salad with bell pepper turns out bright, tasty and juicy.

  • 10 sheets;
  • 200 g processed cheese;
  • 300 g boiled ham;
  • 250 g hard cheese;
  • 250 g canned corn;
  • 2 bell peppers;
  • a bunch of green onions;
  • a bunch of dill;
  • mayonnaise.

Grease the sheets with melted cheese and wrap them into tight rolls. Cut them into circles 1 cm wide and set aside.

Wash the peppers, remove seeds, and rinse again. Cut the ham, cheese and peppers into cubes of the same size. Open the can of corn and pour out the juice.

Finely chop the dill and green onions. Combine the chopped products in a bowl, season with spices, add mayonnaise, stir.

Cover a tall salad bowl with cling film so that its edges hang low. Place the pancake circles tightly over the entire surface of the dish. Place the salad on the pancakes, level it, cover with the edges of the film and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

After the specified time, transfer the salad to a dish and remove the film. Decorate the salad with olives, halved cherry tomatoes and boiled quail eggs.

Recipe 7. Salad with chicken and ham “Real Delight”

Ingredients

100 g Dutch cheese;

4 small pickled cucumbers.

1. Boil the chicken breast, remove from the broth and finely chop. Remove the cucumbers from the marinade, cut off both sides and chop into small pieces. Wash the tomatoes, wipe with a paper towel and cut into cubes. Cut the ham into short strips.

We make mice from quail eggs. The nose is made of dry cloves, the eyes are made of black peppercorns, the tails are made of dill sprigs, the ears are made of pieces of olives. Place the mice on the cheese.

Salad with ham, beans and croutons

You can prepare a salad with ham and beans for your beloved man. Warm rye crackers with garlic add piquancy and amazing aroma to the dish. The salad is delicious served with mashed potatoes.

  • 225 g boiled ham;
  • 225 g hard cheese;
  • 225 g rye bread;
  • 1 red bell pepper;

Salad with ham, cucumber and cheese

Ingredients:

  • lean ham – 180 g;
  • fresh long cucumber with smooth peel – 2 pcs.;
  • low fat hard cheese (45%) – 160 g;
  • boiled eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • mayonnaise – 130 g;
  • salt and spices - if desired;
  • Iceberg salad - 3-4 leaves for serving.

Cooking technique:

  1. Wash the cucumbers and herbs and then dry well. Excess moisture will make the salad taste too watery. Therefore, the drying step cannot be ignored.
  2. Peel the ham from the artificial casing and cut into neat cubes. Another method of grinding is allowed - straws. But in this case, the pleasant density inherent in the ham will not be visible in the salad.
  3. Take a piece of cheese and grate it on a coarse grater. Combine the product with ham in a deep salad bowl.
  4. Cut the cucumbers into thin strips and also throw them into the salad bowl.
  5. Allow the boiled chicken eggs to cool completely, then finely chop or grate on a coarse grater. It is prohibited to add a component while it is hot. Contact with high temperatures will cause the cucumbers to lose their firmness and turn the salad into an unappetizing rubbery mess.
  6. Mix the prepared ingredients in a deep bowl. If desired, add salt and pepper (although this step can be omitted, mayonnaise and ham can give the dish the necessary saltiness).

To serve, place iceberg leaves on a serving plate and spread the salad over them in a mound.

Recipe with pineapples

To prepare this recipe you will need only 4 ingredients in the same proportions. You can dress the salad with ham and pineapples with mayonnaise or Greek yogurt.

  • 200 g ham;
  • 200 g hard cheese;
  • 200 g canned pineapple pieces;
  • 200 g cucumbers;
  • mayonnaise.

Cut ham, cheese and cucumbers into equal small cubes. Combine the chopped ingredients with pineapples, mayonnaise and spices in a salad bowl. Stir and serve.

  • 400 g ham;
  • 250 g cheese;
  • 200 g curd mass;
  • 120 g butter;
  • 50 g walnuts;
  • a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • 8 g gelatin;
  • 50 ml water;

  • 100 ml meat broth;
  • 4 g gelatin.

We take the butter out of the refrigerator and wait for it to completely soften. Mix the curd mass with butter. Add mayonnaise and beat the mixture until smooth and homogeneous. Mix the grated cheese with the resulting mass. Add crushed garlic and stir.

Fill the gelatin with water following the instructions on the package. Place the walnuts in a hot frying pan and fry for a couple of minutes until a characteristic aroma appears. We leave the large beautiful halves for decoration. Finely chop the remaining nuts with a knife and mix with the curd mass.

Heat the gelatin until the grains are completely dissolved, but do not boil it. While beating the curd mass with a mixer, carefully pour in the gelatin. Slice the ham as thinly as possible. You can buy the product already cut.

Cover a small rectangular or square pan with cling film. Place the ham in one layer on the bottom. We try not to leave empty spaces. Spread a layer of cheese mass about 0.5 cm thick on top. Repeat layers until we have used all the products. The last layer should be the curd layer. Place the salad in the refrigerator.

Dissolve gelatin in the broth and put on fire. Heat until the grains are completely dissolved, but do not boil. Cool the mixture and pour evenly onto the curd layer. Place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. We take out the salad, remove the film, transfer it to a dish, and cut it into portioned squares. Place half a walnut in the middle of each.

French salad with carrots, ham and cheese

Salad with chicken, ham and cheese

For vinaigrette sauce: 6 tbsp. spoons of olive oil 2 tbsp. spoons of white wine vinegar 1 teaspoon of European mustard salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

Prepare the sauce: pour vinegar into a small jar, add salt and ground pepper to taste, close the lid, shake vigorously to dissolve the spices.   • 130 g ham;
  • 70 g hard cheese;
  • 200 g chicken fillet;
  • 200 g champignons;
  • 4 eggs;
  • a bunch of green onions;
  • 400 g potatoes;
  • greenery;
  • mayonnaise.

Boil hard-boiled eggs. Cut the mushrooms into slices and fry in vegetable oil until soft and golden brown. Rub the chicken with spices to taste, bake in foil or steam.

We clean the eggs. Grate the whites on a fine grater and mix with the mushrooms in a separate bowl. Cut the ham and chicken into short strips. Finely chop the green onions. Add the chopped products to the mushrooms, season with spices, add mayonnaise and stir.

Grate the cheese. Chop the greens very finely to taste. Mix the yolks with cheese, herbs and mayonnaise. From the resulting mass we make eggs the size of quails.

We cut the potatoes into cubes and deep-fry them. Place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

We form the salad. Place lettuce leaves on a dish and place mushrooms, ham and chicken seasoned with mayonnaise in the center. Make a hole in the middle and place eggs from the yolk mixture into it. Place French fries along the edge of the dish, forming a nest. Before serving, sprinkle the salad with finely chopped herbs.

Recipe 1. Salad with chicken, ham, pineapple and honey mushrooms

Ingredients

200 g chicken breast;

200 canned pineapple;

200 g pickled honey mushrooms;

two bell peppers.

Cooking method

1. Wash the chicken breast, place it in a saucepan, fill it with drinking water and boil until tender. Be sure to remove the foam. Remove the breast and cool. Chop the ham and breast into small cubes.

2. Open cans of canned pineapple and pickled honey mushrooms. Drain the marinade from them. Take out the pineapple rings and chop them into small pieces. Leave the mushrooms whole.

3. Rinse the bell pepper, wipe it with a napkin, remove the stem and seeds and chop it finely.

4. Transfer all the chopped products into a suitable bowl, season with a mixture of peppers and salt, add mayonnaise and mix well. Transfer the prepared salad with chicken and ham into a deep bowl and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.

“Greek” with ham and olives

The popular ham and egg salad is more satisfying than the original recipe. Olives, Feta cheese, egg and bell pepper go well together.

  • 250 g ham;
  • 150 g Feta cheese;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 1 boiled egg;
  • 150 g olives;
  • 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard.

Cut the ham and cheese into medium-sized cubes of the same size. We wash the peppers to remove seeds and cut them into slices. Cut the egg lengthwise into 2 parts and cut into slices.

We use pitted olives. Take them out of the marinade and cut them in half. For dressing, mix mayonnaise with mustard. Place the prepared ingredients in a salad bowl, add spices to taste and dressing, and stir.

Layered salad with bell pepper

The dish will be more satisfying if you dilute the ham and fresh cucumber with bell pepper and boiled potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • ham – 150 g;
  • potato tuber (large) – 1 pc.;
  • fresh gherkins – 3-4 pcs.;
  • onion – ½ head;
  • sweet pepper – ½ piece;
  • boiled eggs – 2 pcs.;
  • mixture of mayonnaise and mustard (ratio 1:2) – 3 tbsp. l.

Cooking technique:

  1. Boil the potatoes, then cool them and let them dry slightly.
  2. Cut ham, peppers, potatoes, onions and cucumbers into small cubes.
  3. Lay out the salad in layers (each coated with mayonnaise dressing): potatoes - ham - onions - cucumbers - egg whites.
  4. The final touch is covering the salad with yolk crumbs.

If desired, the layers can be duplicated, then the dish will turn out higher, but the amount of ingredients will also increase by 2-3 times.

Unusual salad with ham, avocado and nectarines

The unusual combination of ingredients will surprise guests and family. The salad is prepared very quickly, the tasty dressing makes the dish piquant.

  • 200 g raw smoked ham;
  • 3 nectarines;
  • 1 avocado;
  • half a bunch of lettuce leaves;
  • 4 sprigs of basil;
  • 4 tbsp. l. olive oil;
  • 1 tbsp. l. balsamic vinegar.

We cut the ham very thinly. We tear the resulting plates into several pieces and put them in a salad bowl. We take out the seeds from the nectarines and cut the fruit into slices. Remove the bone from the avocado and peel off the skin. We cut the pulp into slices.

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves on a paper towel. Tear the basil sprigs into small pieces and chop with a blender. Combine basil with oil and vinegar and stir.

Place lettuce leaves on a plate and top with ham, nectarines and avocado. Pour the dressing over the salad and serve.
