A wonderful dish for a holiday table is the “Fairy Tale” salad with chicken and champignons, the recipe for which has many variations. All of them deserve attention due to the perfect combination of products.

The main ingredients in the salad are mushrooms and meat . They are always the same, but there are many variations with additional products and design. This dish leaves no one indifferent and rarely lingers on the table. The main thing is that you need to prepare it in advance so that it has time to soak well.

“Fairy Tale” salad with chicken, champignons and walnuts

This layered salad is decorated with crunchy walnuts, which adds a special taste to the dish and makes it truly festive.

Cooking time: 40 min Number of servings: 6-7

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast (500 g);
  • champignons (500 g);
  • walnut (100 g);
  • onion (1 pc.);
  • chicken egg (6 pcs.);
  • mayonnaise (150 g);
  • salt and pepper (to taste);
  • dill/parsley/other fresh herbs (for decoration).

Preparation:

  1. Wash the chicken breast, put it in boiling water and add salt when it boils again. Cook until cooked and leave in the broth until it cools so that the chicken is juicy.
  2. Boil the eggs hard (no more than 10 minutes), cool in cold water, peel and finely chop or grate.
  3. Wash the champignons well in water. Finely chop and fry in a frying pan in butter. You can also simply boil the mushrooms whole for 10-15 minutes and then chop them.
  4. Peel the onions and chop them into cubes. Place it in a frying pan with mushrooms, fry until tender, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Fry the nuts a little in a dry frying pan (without fat), and then grind them into crumbs using a blender or pound in a mortar.
  6. Remove the chicken meat from the broth, separate the skin and disassemble it into fibers. It is necessary to divide it into two equal parts.
  7. Let's start collecting the salad. To do this, we will use a culinary hoop; you can also lay out the layers in a deep salad bowl, not forgetting to grease each one with mayonnaise. Place half of the shredded chicken breast first.
  8. The next layer is half of the champignons with onions.
  9. Place one part of the chopped eggs on the mushrooms.
  10. We continue to make layers from the second part of the products, without changing the order and greasing them with mayonnaise.
  11. Place the dish in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then remove the hoop and sprinkle nut crumbs on top and decorate with herbs.

Layered salad with chicken, mushrooms, cheese and egg - step-by-step recipe without mayonnaise

This salad turns out very tender and tasty. It is quite filling due to the presence of eggs and chicken meat. Chicken and mushrooms in almost equal proportions complement each other perfectly. Let's start preparing it.

We will need:

  • Boiled chicken meat -220 grams;
  • Fresh champignons - 180 grams;
  • Cheese - 60 grams;
  • Chicken egg - 2 pieces;
  • Sour cream - 20 grams;
  • Salt - to taste


This salad can be prepared very quickly if you prepare all the ingredients in advance: boil the chicken, eggs, fry the mushrooms, but if it’s not ready yet, let’s do it together.

To prepare this salad, you can use any chicken meat, and not just fillet, as in most salads. I suggest making this salad from chicken drumsticks, and you can use any other part.

Step 1. First, rinse the chicken in cold water, put it in a saucepan, fill it with cold water and put it on the stove. Before boiling begins, carefully monitor the cooking process so that when foam appears, remove it immediately. Otherwise, it will remain in the pan and settle on the chicken, and we don’t need that at all. Cook the chicken at a low simmer for 30-40 minutes.

To keep the meat in the salad tender, it is better to use fresh or chilled young chicken; old chicken is not suitable here. No matter how much you cook it, it is still tough.

Step 2. Then remove from the broth, cool and cut into small pieces.

Step 3. While the chicken is cooking, clean the champignons, cut them into thin slices and fry in a frying pan for 10-15 minutes and cool.

Step 4. Immediately set the eggs to boil. After boiling, cook them for 8-10 minutes, cool them in cold water and peel them and grate them. Grate it coarsely or finely at your discretion.

To prevent the egg from cracking during cooking, add salt to the water.

Step 5. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, this will make it look more beautiful.

Step 6 Everything is prepared, now we will assemble the salad in layers. Place finely chopped chicken on the first layer. Fried champignons on it. Place grated eggs on the mushrooms, then cheese and sour cream. Lightly add salt to all layers. Sour cream, if desired, can be replaced with mayonnaise.

To make the salad cook faster, it is better to soak each layer rather than pour it on top.

If by chance you don’t have sour cream, you can season the salad with mayonnaise. The salad will turn out more spicy, but also tender and airy, just melting in your mouth.

“Fairy Tale” salad with chicken, champignons and cheese

In this version, the classic salad is complemented with cheese and garlic, which makes the dish even more nutritious and aromatic.

Cooking time: 40 min Number of servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast (200 g);
  • champignons (100 g);
  • cheese, hard variety (100 g);
  • walnut kernels (50 g);
  • onion (1 pc.);
  • chicken egg (2 pcs.);
  • garlic (2 cloves);
  • mayonnaise (to taste);
  • salt (to taste);
  • pepper (to taste).

Preparation:

  1. Fill the mushrooms with water and set to cook for 10-15 minutes. Then place in a colander and cut into strips.
  2. Peel the onion, finely cut into cubes and begin to fry in vegetable oil. Once the onion turns golden, add the chopped champignons and fry for another 5 minutes.
  3. Boil the chicken, cool in the broth, and then cut into small cubes. Place it on a plate as the first layer of salad, giving it the shape of a circle (you can use a cooking ring), grease it with mayonnaise.
  4. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and finely chop them with a knife. Place them on the chicken and coat with mayonnaise.
  5. Place the next layer - fried champignons with onions.
  6. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, peel the garlic and squeeze it through a press, add mayonnaise and mix well. Spread the cheese mixture in the next layer.
  7. Lightly fry the walnuts and then chop them. Sprinkle the salad with nut crumbs and let it sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving.

Delicious salad with chicken, mushrooms, cheese and walnuts for the festive table - “Fairy Tale” salad

This is one of my favorite salads; I often prepare it for the New Year's table or other holiday. Walnuts and cheese emphasize the perfect taste of salad with chicken and mushrooms. The salad is not complicated and very tasty, it perfectly complements the holiday table.

To prepare it we will need:

  • Chicken fillet - 200-250 grams;
  • Chicken eggs - 3 pieces;
  • Onions - 2 pieces;
  • Fresh champignons - 250 grams;
  • Mozzarella cheese (you can use regular cheese) - 200 grams;
  • Salt, ground black pepper - to taste;
  • Garlic - 2-3 cloves;
  • Walnuts - 30-40 grams;
  • Mayonnaise - 100-150 grams;
  • Greens for decoration

1. First you need to prepare the mushrooms. To do this, peel the champignons, cut them into slices and place them in a frying pan heated with oil. Cut the onion into half rings and add to the mushrooms, mix well and fry them until golden brown. At the end of frying, add salt and pepper. Set the champignons aside to cool.

2. Prepare salad dressing. Add crushed garlic to the mayonnaise and mix everything well into a homogeneous mass, which we will later use to lubricate our layers.

If you absolutely do not like garlic, then you can do without it.

3. Cut the boiled chicken fillet into cubes, mix with the prepared sauce and place in the first layer in a salad bowl, adding a little pepper.


4. The next layer will be diced eggs. Place them on the chicken and coat with mayonnaise and garlic.

5. Place mushrooms fried with onions on the eggs and lightly season them with mayonnaise. Place the final layer of finely grated cheese. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

7. Chop the walnuts and sprinkle them on top of the salad. To ensure everything is well soaked, put the salad in the refrigerator for an hour. You can decorate it before serving. A bright, hearty, tasty salad is ready for the holiday table.

“Fairy Tale” salad with chicken, champignons and prunes

The combination of sweet prunes with mushrooms and chicken makes this dish truly delicious and will become the star of your holiday table.

Cooking time: 50 min Number of servings: 6-7

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet (400 g);
  • champignons (300 g);
  • hard cheese (200 g);
  • prunes (150 g);
  • walnuts (70 g);
  • onion (1 pc.);
  • vegetable oil (for frying, 70 ml);
  • mayonnaise (to taste);
  • salt (to taste);
  • parsley and berries (for decoration).

How to prepare “Layered salad “Mushroom Tale””

Peel the boiled potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater. We are preparing 2 servings of salad, so we divide all the ingredients in half. Place grated potatoes in the first layer and spread with mayonnaise.

Cut the mushrooms into slices or cubes. Leave a couple of mushrooms for decoration, lay out the mushroom layer.

Now - a layer of carrots, grated on a coarse grater. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

Cut the ham into small cubes and place on the carrots. Lubricate.

Finely chop the arugula or green onions and place in the next layer.

Grate the hard-boiled eggs, lay them out and grease them with mayonnaise.

And the last layer is grated cheese. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Remove the culinary ring. If you don't have one, just cut the bottom off a tin jar to the size you need (like I did).

And decorate the salad with herbs and mushrooms. Beautiful? :)

Fairytale salad - quick recipe

The time has come to turn simple and affordable products quickly and effortlessly into a delicious dish. Serve it for dinner and your loved ones will be delighted.

Cooking time: 30 min Number of servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast (1 pc.);
  • fresh champignons (300 g);
  • green onions (2 pcs.);
  • chicken egg (2 pcs.);
  • vegetable oil (for frying, 50 ml);
  • mayonnaise (to taste);
  • salt and pepper (to taste);
  • dill/other fresh herbs (for decoration).

Preparation:

  1. Wash the champignons, cut them and fry in vegetable oil until cooked. Let's pepper and add some salt.
  2. Remove the skin from the boiled chicken breast and cut into small strips.
  3. Boil the eggs hard, peel and also cut into strips. Pour all the prepared ingredients into a deep salad bowl.
  4. Finely chop the green onions with a knife and add to the rest of the products. Season with mayonnaise and mix well. Add salt to taste and let it brew a little before serving. Decorate with greens.

Salad with chicken, mushrooms and pineapples

If you like salads with a fruity twist, then this salad is for you, it's great. Pineapples freshen up the flavor of the chicken. In order for the salad to be perfect, you need to combine the same amount of chicken and mushrooms.

Required ingredients:

  • Fresh mushrooms - 0.5 kilograms;
  • Chicken breast - 0.5 kilograms;
  • Egg - 4 pieces;
  • Hard cheese - 150 - 200 grams;
  • Canned pineapples - 1 can;
  • Mayonnaise – 200 grams

1. Fry the champignons and onions in a frying pan until slightly brown, usually 15 minutes is enough for the liquid to evaporate and leave to cool.

2. Meanwhile, cut the boiled chicken breast into large strips, not small cubes, so that the chicken meat can be felt well.

Boil the chicken in advance so that the chicken meat is more tender and let it rest in the broth.

3. Drain the syrup from the pineapples and cut them into small pieces.

4. Grate the eggs on a coarse grater.

5. It’s better to grate the cheese on a fine grater.

6. Now let's assemble the salad. There are two assembly methods. First, mix all the prepared ingredients and add mayonnaise. There is a second way - lay it out in layers. I prefer layered serving, as each component is better felt this way.

I propose to make just such an assembly. It is more convenient to do this in a ring. Even a cake pan is suitable; it can be removed easily, and the salad will keep its shape.

7. We begin layer-by-layer assembly. The first layer is mushrooms, which we lightly grease with mayonnaise. The second layer is eggs and a little mayonnaise. Third layer - lay out the chicken and stretch the mayonnaise. The fourth layer is pineapples, add mayonnaise to them.

In order for the salad to better hold its shape and not fall apart, each layer should be lightly pressed with a fork. Then the salad will conveniently be placed on portioned plates.

8. Carefully remove the ring and put it in the refrigerator to brew.

9. Before serving, sprinkle with grated cheese. This will make the salad look fresher and more appetizing. If you like, you can garnish with pomegranate seeds or cranberries. They will look like berries in the snow.

“Fairy Tale” salad with fried chicken, champignons and vegetables

Any dish should be not only tasty, but also healthy. Check out this version of the popular salad, which includes carrots and cucumbers. In addition, it cooks quickly - you don’t have to lay out the dish in layers, you can simply mix all the ingredients and enjoy the extraordinary taste.

  • champignons (300 g);
  • onion (1 pc.);
  • carrots (1-2 pcs.);
  • fresh/salted cucumber (4 pcs.);
  • vegetable oil (for frying, 4-5 tbsp.);
  • mayonnaise (to taste);
  • pepper (to taste);
  • salt (to taste);
  • parsley/other fresh herbs (for decoration).

Preparation:

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Fry over medium heat, adding vegetable oil to the pan, until cooked. Once the meat has cooled sufficiently, cut into cubes. Transfer to a salad bowl to cool to room temperature.
  2. Cut the champignons into large pieces and fry over high heat until all the water has evaporated, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the mushrooms turn golden brown, and then also add to the salad bowl.
  3. Fry grated carrots and finely chopped onions in vegetable oil until soft. We transfer the vegetables to the rest of the products in the salad bowl.
  4. Wash and finely chop the cucumbers.
  5. Once all fried ingredients have cooled to room temperature, add cucumbers, mayonnaise and stir. Before serving, decorate the salad with fresh herbs.

Recipe for “Fairy Tale” salad with crab sticks

Ingredients:

  • 4 boiled chicken eggs;
  • 200 grams of crab sticks;
  • 200-300 grams of fried mushrooms;
  • 1 can canned sweet corn;
  • 1 medium onion;
  • 2 medium-sized pickles;
  • to taste - mayonnaise.

Preparation:

The recipe for the “Fairy Tale” salad is as follows: place the ingredients in layers. In principle, it is similar to a snack pie, due to which the dish is not only tasty, but also very beautiful, one might even say spectacular.


First you need to finely chop the onion. To prevent it from becoming bitter, experienced housewives scald it with boiling water. But you can leave it in its original form, just by cutting it. For some reason, men prefer this option.

On the first, onion, layer we place the second layer - mushroom. When choosing mushrooms, you can also proceed from your taste preferences. These can be champignons, honey mushrooms, boletuses, and chanterelles. Any of these varieties is suitable and will help recreate a real fairy tale on a salad dish.

Next, add pickled cucumbers, cut into strips. Carefully place chopped crab sticks on them. Now we arm ourselves with a grater and coarsely grate the eggs directly onto the crab sticks. Don't forget to lightly coat each layer with mayonnaise. Decorate the salad with mushrooms and corn. It turned out simply fabulous. After an hour, the appetizer can be served.

Boiled chicken fillet is also often used in salads. We will not leave it unattended either.
