The dish I want to talk about is quite popular in Russia and the CIS countries. It is often chosen on the holiday dinner menu and the composition is changed based on your preferences. Here's my option.

Salad “Pomegranate Bracelet”

Since its appearance, this beautiful salad has acquired a lot of variations; now it is difficult to remember what its classic recipe was. We present the basic version, and each reader can add any suitable products to the list of components.

Ingredients:

  • Boiled potatoes, beets, carrots – 500 g each.
  • Chicken meat – 500 g.
  • Onion – 2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 300 g.
  • Pomegranate – 1-2 pcs.
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Fry the chicken with onions (bake with spices, boil), separate into fibers.
  2. Peel the boiled vegetables and grate them individually.
  3. Place a glass on a flat dish, place a potato ring around it, add salt and apply a layer of mayonnaise.
  4. Do the same with beets, carrots, chicken, coating each layer with mayonnaise.
  5. Depending on the diameter of the plate and the availability of products, you can repeat the layers in the same sequence - a tall salad looks more advantageous. Ideally, the dish should be shaped like a flattened cone with a hole in the middle.
  6. Take out the glass.
  7. Cover the surface of the product thickly with pomegranate seeds so that the mayonnaise is not visible - this is a distinctive feature of the salad.
  8. Let it soak.

Nowadays it is customary to prepare a “Pomegranate Bracelet” with additional layers - with walnuts, cheese, and eggs. Chicken can be replaced with beef, pork or boiled heart.

How to prepare “Pomegranate bracelet salad with cheese”

Boil the fillet in salted water until tender. Then cool it, finely chop it and place it on the bottom layer of salad, brushed with mayonnaise. You can use a springform pan.

In a preheated frying pan, fry the onion quarters in oil until golden brown.

Place the cooled onion in the next layer.

Grate the boiled eggs on a coarse grater. Place them on the onions and then spread the mayonnaise over them.

Next, grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Lubricate it with mayonnaise.

Place chopped nuts in the next layer. Lubricate them a little with mayonnaise.

Now add the beets. Boil it until tender and grate it coarsely, then pepper and add mayonnaise.

At the very end, garnish the salad with pomegranate seeds. Remove the pan from the dish. Bon appetit!

Salad "Little Red Riding Hood"

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chicken – 400 g.
  • Potatoes – 4 pcs.
  • Carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 150 g.
  • Peeled walnuts – 100 g.
  • Egg – 2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 300 g.
  • Pomegranate – 1 pc.
  • Salt, spices.

Preparation:

  1. Peel and chop boiled potatoes and carrots
  2. Cut the chicken into cubes.
  3. Grate the cheese.
  4. Chop the nuts.
  5. Serve the salad on a flat dish, laying in layers:
      potato,
  6. meat,
  7. walnut,
  8. cheesy,
  9. carrot,
  10. egg.
  11. Salt each layer and coat with mayonnaise.
  12. Place pomegranate seeds tightly on top.
  13. The “Little Red Riding Hood” salad can be decorated differently, just mix the ingredients, but the top must be decorated with pomegranate seeds. This snack can be served in tartlets.
  14. Refrigerate for two hours before serving.

Salad “Pomegranate bracelet” with smoked chicken without beets

I really like this recipe, which includes smoked chicken. Due to this, the “Pomegranate Ring” turns out to be very juicy, tasty and unusual. Just what you need for the New Year's table.

Salad composition:

  • 1 smoked chicken breast;
  • 6 pcs. boiled potatoes;
  • 7 boiled eggs;
  • 3 onions;
  • 3 grenades;
  • 150 gr. mayonnaise;
  • 1 tbsp. l. Sahara;
  • 1 tbsp. l. vinegar.

Cut the onion into small cubes, place it in a bowl, add sugar, a pinch of salt and vinegar. Mix everything well and leave to marinate for 30-40 minutes.

Cut the smoked chicken into small cubes or tear it into thin fibers with your hands.

Now you can assemble the salad. Many housewives do it this way. Place a glass or jar in the center of the dish and lay out all the ingredients in layers around it. Then, the glass is taken out and a ring is obtained. I don’t really like this method, because when assembled this way, the salad looks kind of sloppy.

I assemble the Garnet Bracelet a little differently. I take a large dish and place all the layers of salad along its edge. Place smoked chicken on the bottom of a large dish. Thus, the inside of the “Bracelet” is covered with pomegranate seeds and the dish looks very presentable and beautiful.

So, put a layer of smoked chicken on a large dish and form a ring out of it. We apply a mesh of mayonnaise on top.

The second is potatoes grated on a coarse grater. It can be grated directly onto a dish or spread out previously grated. We also grease it with mayonnaise.

Grate the eggs on a coarse grater or cut into cubes. I like it better when the eggs are grated, so they are more tender. We apply a mayonnaise mesh on them.

Squeeze out all excess liquid from the pickled onions. Place it on top of the eggs and brush.

The last ones are the pomegranate seeds. We lay them tightly, without gaps, not forgetting the inside.

Place the finished salad in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

After this, we decorate the garnet bracelet with greenery and serve it to the table. But, even without additional decorations, it looks festive and appetizing!

Salad “Watermelon slice” with pomegranate and grapes

Ingredients:

  • Boiled sausage – 170 g.
  • Fresh champignons – 250 g.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 100 g.
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Pomegranate – 1 pc.
  • White grapes.
  • Olives.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Mayonnaise and sour cream - 100 g each.
  • Vegetable oil.
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the sausage into cubes.
  2. Boil eggs and carrots, peel.
  3. Finely grate cheese, carrots, eggs.
  4. Chop the champignons and fry.
  5. Chop the garlic and combine with sour cream and mayonnaise.
  6. Cut the grapes into halves.
  7. Finely chop a few olives.
  8. Arrange the salad in the form of a semicircle (similar to a watermelon slice), in layers, coating each product with sauce.
      1 layer – sausage,
  9. 2nd layer – mushrooms,
  10. 3rd layer – carrots,
  11. 4 layer – eggs,
  12. 5 layer – cheese,
  13. 6th layer – pomegranate seeds.
  14. Cover the side surface of the dish with halves of grapes, imitating a watermelon rind, and pieces of olives on a pomegranate background, simulating seeds, will help give the dish a complete resemblance to a watermelon slice.
  15. Many components of the salad can be varied, for example, replace the sausage with chicken, or take Korean carrots instead of boiled ones.

Classic “Pomegranate Bracelet” salad with chicken

How to make a salad so that it is not only beautiful, but also very tasty? I advise you not to boil the meat, but to cook it in the oven. Fillet fried in a frying pan and then baked in the oven turns out very juicy, aromatic and tender.

And it tastes very much like grilled meat. Even dry chicken breast prepared in this way is sure to turn out very juicy and tasty.

  • 250 gr. chicken breast fillet;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 2 beets;
  • 1-2 carrots;
  • 3-4 eggs;
  • 200 gr. champignons;
  • 2 tbsp. l. walnuts;
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic;
  • 1-2 grenades;
  • 150 gr. mayonnaise;
  • 3-4 tbsp. l. raises oils;
  • salt pepper.

Wash the skinless chicken breast well and dry it with a paper towel. Salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the whole chicken fillet on both sides until golden brown. Fry over high heat for 1-2 minutes on each side.

Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180° and bake for another 7-8 minutes.

Remove the finished fillet, cool slightly and cut into cubes.

Wash the champignons well and cut into cubes or small slices.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms in it. During frying, add salt, pepper and stir. All the liquid should evaporate from the mushrooms, and they themselves should brown a little.

Boil carrots, beets and potatoes in their skins. Cool and clean.

Fry the walnuts a little in a dry frying pan and chop them in a blender or chop them with a knife.

Pass the garlic through a press and mix with mayonnaise. If you don't like garlic, then just don't put it in, although I personally really like its presence in the salad. It gives it a slight spiciness and piquant taste.

Place a glass in the middle of the dish and place all the ingredients around it in layers. Coat all layers with mayonnaise.

Place half of the chicken fillet first.

Next we lay out the carrots, add a little salt and pepper.

Next we lay out the potatoes, which we coat with mayonnaise.

Sprinkle with nuts.

Place a layer of fried champignons on it.

Place the remaining chicken on top of the mushrooms. Coat it and sprinkle with walnuts.

Next add the grated eggs. They need a little salt and pepper.

Cover the entire salad evenly with grated beets and level its surface.

We also salt and pepper this layer and grease it with mayonnaise.

Carefully remove the glass. To do this, slowly scroll it around the axis and lift it up.

Sprinkle the inside of the “bracelet” with beets and coat with mayonnaise.

Now all that remains is to sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. Wash the pomegranates well, cut off the top and cut out the white core.

We make cuts on the skin on four to six sides.

We open the pomegranate like the petals of a flower and carefully select the seeds.

Sprinkle them on the surface of the “Garnet Bracelet”.

For the New Year, such a salad will undoubtedly decorate the festive table.

Salad "Monomakh's Hat" with cheese and walnuts

An original layered salad, decorated in the shape of a dome.

Ingredients:

  • Smoked chicken – 400 g.
  • Boiled egg – 3 pcs.
  • Boiled beets – 2 pcs.
  • Boiled carrots – 2 pcs.
  • Boiled potatoes – 4 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 200 g.
  • Walnuts – 150 g.
  • Mayonnaise – 250 g.
  • Pomegranate, salt, herbs.

Preparation:

  1. Separate the chicken into fibers, grate the vegetables, eggs and cheese separately.
  2. Form a multi-layer salad, coating each component with mayonnaise.
  3. The bottom layer is potatoes, the top layer is beets.
  4. Give a hemispherical shape, grease the surface with mayonnaise. Decorate with walnuts, pomegranate, grated cheese to create an imitation of Monomakh's hat.

Salad “Pomegranate bracelet” with chicken and corn without beets

Last New Year I prepared a “Pomegranate Ring” according to this recipe, namely with corn. I was a little doubtful whether it would work out or not, after all, corn is an ingredient with a fairly bright taste. But it turned out very tasty and unusual.

The corn adds a sweetness to the salad that pairs perfectly with the tart pomegranate. In general, if you still don’t know which version of salad to prepare for New Year’s Eve, then I recommend trying this one.

  • 300 gr. boiled chicken fillet;
  • 3-4 boiled potatoes;
  • 3 boiled carrots;
  • 250 gr. canned corn;
  • 3-4 hard-boiled eggs;
  • 100 gr. mayonnaise;
  • seeds from 1-2 pomegranates.

Drain the juice from the canned corn. Cut the boiled chicken fillet into cubes or tear it into fibers with your hands.

We put a glass on the blouse and put potatoes around it, which we salt and pepper. Carefully grease all layers with mayonnaise.

Next we lay out the chicken fillet.

Next, distribute the carrots. It also needs to be seasoned with a little salt and pepper.

Place corn on top of carrots. then, eggs.

Place the eggs last.

Lubricate the layer thoroughly with mayonnaise and lay out the pomegranate seeds. Press them gently with your fingers so they don't fall off.

Place the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, and then remove the glass from it.

Look how festive and solemn the dish looks! When it's on the table, you immediately feel the New Year's mood in the house!

Layered salad “Men's Tears” with pomegranate

Ingredients:

  • Ham – 300 g.
  • Boiled eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Boiled potatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Onion – 3 pcs.
  • Lemon juice – 3 tables. spoons.
  • Sugar and salt - 1 teaspoon each.
  • Mayonnaise – 250 g.
  • Pomegranate.

Preparation:

  1. Grate eggs and potatoes into separate bowls.
  2. Cut the ham into strips.
  3. Chop the onion, marinate in lemon juice with salt and sugar.
  4. Place in the split ring in layers:
      Potatoes (salt) + mayonnaise.
  5. Ham + mayonnaise.
  6. Onion + mayonnaise.
  7. Eggs + mayonnaise.
  8. Remove the ring and garnish the “Men’s Tears” salad with pomegranate seeds.

You can change the recipe and prepare a less calorie, light salad with beef.

How to prepare a delicious and beautiful Pomegranate Bracelet salad - some useful tips

Every housewife certainly wants the salad to turn out not only tasty, but also beautiful. So that all the guests ooh and ahh in surprise and delight. I won’t lie, I’m like that myself. I also like it when people praise me, shower me with compliments and ask me for a recipe when I interrupt.

Therefore, I will allow myself to give you some advice so that your “Garnet Bracelet” will always be a great success and your guests will tell you what a skillful hostess you are.

To make the “Garnet Bracelet” beautiful, even and festive , I advise you to assemble it like this. Place a glass or jar in the center of the dish and place all the ingredients around it. When the salad is assembled, simply carefully remove the glass or jar from it. As a result, you get a neat and even ring.

What if you don’t have a suitable glass at hand? Then the most ordinary plastic bottle will do. You can use it whole, pouring it to stabilize the water, or cut a cylinder out of it and place it on a dish. And put the rest of the ingredients around it.

How to replace pomegranate in salad? Despite the fact that the “Pomegranate Bracelet” is very tasty, many people do not like it precisely because of the pomegranate seeds. This problem can be easily solved by replacing pomegranate seeds with lingonberries or viburnum berries. They taste practically no different from pomegranate.

True, viburnum also has seeds, but compared to pomegranates, they are not large and not hard. This means that nothing threatens the teeth of your guests.

  • Shrimp – 400 g.

The beef will be baked with spices. The meat turns out very tender, juicy with a golden brown crust. The salad “flies away” from the New Year’s table in a matter of minutes. The secret of its amazing taste is the delicate sour cream and mustard filling, which gives the salad a special creamy, spicy note.

  • 500 gr. beef;
  • 3-4 boiled potatoes;
  • 2 boiled carrots;
  • 3 boiled eggs;
  • 100 gr. hard cheese;
  • 150 gr. mayonnaise;
  • 50 gr. mustard;
  • 1-2 grenades;
  • spice mixture;
  • 1-2 tbsp. l. raises oils

Remove films and veins from the beef in one piece. Wash with cold water, dry and rub with salt and spices. Leave at room temperature to marinate for 30-40 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°, transfer the beef to foil, coat thoroughly with oil on all sides. Wrap the foil and pinch the edges.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the meat for 40-45 minutes. Then, unfold the foil and fry the meat for another 15 minutes until it browns. Determine the readiness of beef by how much smoke comes out of it. If it is transparent and the meat is soft, then it is ready.

Please note that cooking time will depend on the age of the meat. The younger it is, the faster it will bake.

Remove the cooked beef from the oven and let it cool completely. Cut it into small cubes.

  1. Peel the radish and soak in cold water for 15 minutes.

  3. Peel the pomegranate, squeeze the juice out of half the seeds, strain.
  4. Squeeze juice from lemon.
  5. For dressing, mix lemon and pomegranate juices.
