If boiled chicken is too light and tender for you, then you are better off using smoked meat. It will be coarser, saltier and more filling. In this case, tender and juicy leaves of Chinese cabbage will add tenderness to the salad. And the rest of the ingredients will make all five recipes truly special. Juicy Chinese cabbage salad with shrimp

Ingredients:

  • Peking cabbage – ½ head.
  • Sweet red onion – ½ pc.
  • Peeled shrimp – 150 g.
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons. spoons.
  • Lemon juice (vinegar) - to taste.
  • Salt.
  • Pepper mixture.

Preparation:

  1. Finely chop the cabbage and onion and mix.
  2. Boil shrimps, cool.

Salad with Chinese cabbage and smoked chicken

Grocery list:

  • 300 grams of Chinese cabbage;
  • 300 grams of smoked chicken fillet;
  • 4 chicken eggs;
  • 250 grams of beans;
  • 1 raw carrot;
  • 200 ml mayonnaise;
  • 50 grams of fresh herbs.

Salad with Chinese cabbage, smoked chicken:

  1. Take the chicken apart. What do you mean? Using a sharp knife, remove fat, skin, films and veins from the meat. Cut clean meat into cubes.
  2. Wash the cabbage and chop into strips. You can also tear the cabbage by hand into pieces that are convenient to eat or simply cut the cabbage into cubes.
  3. Boil the eggs until the yolk is firm. First you need to rinse them under water, then add water in a saucepan and put on fire.
  4. Boil the eggs for fifteen minutes from the moment the water begins to boil.
  5. Cool the finished eggs in cold water and peel.
  6. Cut into cubes.
  7. Wash the carrots and scrub them with a stiff dish brush while washing.
  8. Dry the root vegetable and grate it on a special grater for Korean carrots.
  9. You can cook your own beans or buy canned ones. If these are fresh beans, then they must first be soaked overnight and then boiled until fully cooked. That is, until the beans are soft. If it is canned food, then open the can and drain the liquid. The beans are immediately ready to eat.
  10. Wash the greens, dry and finely chop.
  11. In a salad bowl or on a large platter, combine chicken, beans, carrots, eggs, cabbage, and herbs. Season everything with mayonnaise and season with spices. Stir and serve.

Tip: carrots can not only be grated, but also cut into strips, cubes, and circles. The whole process depends on your preferences.

Salad with chicken, bacon and Chinese cabbage

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chicken fillet – 300 g.
  • Peking cabbage – 300 g.
  • Bacon – 150 g.
  • Tomato – 2 pcs.
  • Hard cheese - 200 g.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Parsley.
  • Mayonnaise.
  • Yogurt.
  • Pepper.
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. For the dressing, mix mayonnaise, pepper, salt, chopped garlic, combine with yogurt and stir.
  2. Fry the bacon until golden brown on both sides, cool, and divide into pieces.
  3. Finely chop the cabbage, chop the tomatoes, grate the cheese.
  4. Divide the boiled chicken fillet into fibers.
  5. Finely chop the parsley.
  6. Mix bacon with chicken and other ingredients in a deep salad bowl, season with sauce.
  7. Decorate as you wish.

Salad with smoked chicken, pineapples and Chinese cabbage

Ingredients:

  • Smoked leg – 150 g.
  • Canned pineapple – 350 g.
  • Boiled potatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Chicken egg – 3 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 100 g.
  • Peking cabbage – 100 g.
  • Cucumber – 1 pc.
  • Sweet pepper – 100 g.
  • Walnuts – 50 g.
  • Mayonnaise – 150 g.
  • Fresh greens.
  • Pepper mixture.
  • Salt.

For mayonnaise:

  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Refined oil – 150-200 ml.
  • Salt, vinegar (lemon juice), sugar, mustard - to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Grate cheese, boiled eggs and potatoes.
  2. Cut the pineapples into pieces.
  3. Grind pepper with cucumber and chicken pulp.
  4. Chop greens and cabbage.
  5. Chop the nuts.
  6. For mayonnaise, pour the egg into a tall narrow container, add a pinch of sugar and salt, a little mustard and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
  7. Cover the egg yolk with a submersible blender, add 150-200 ml of odorless purified vegetable oil and beat for several seconds, pressing the stem to the bottom of the bowl, until a thick white mass begins to seep from under the knives. Then slightly raise the blender and periodically move it up and down until the mayonnaise thickens.
  8. Mix all salad ingredients and season with mayonnaise.

Salad with smoked chicken, Chinese cabbage and croutons

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Chinese cabbage salad with crab sticks

One of the most popular recipes with Chinese cabbage.

Ingredients:

Salads with smoked chicken and Chinese cabbage

First, I’ll say a few words that apply to any salad with Chinese cabbage (in other words, Chinese salad. Whoever is used to it).

  1. I will use mayonnaise as a dressing. But keep in mind that Chinese cabbage itself contains a lot of liquid, so add a little mayonnaise.
  2. It is not necessary to season such salads with mayonnaise. You can dilute it half and half with sour cream or natural yogurt. You can make the dressing without mayonnaise at all, using the same sour cream and yogurt.
  3. Since, as I already wrote, Chinese cabbage contains a lot of liquid, which begins to release over time, salads with Chinese cabbage are best served and eaten immediately after cooking, otherwise later they will not look the same, having lost their airiness.
  4. I really like using smoked chicken in salads, it is always soft and its taste is more piquant. But if you wish, you can use regular chicken, either by boiling or frying it.

Now I’ll proceed directly to the recipes for the salads themselves with smoked chicken and Chinese cabbage.

I'll start with the salad that I prepared just the other day.

Previously, I already gave you a recipe for a very tasty salad with smoked chicken and vegetables (fresh cucumber, bell pepper, corn and celery). I really like this salad!

This time I decided to change its composition a little. I really liked the result too.

Salad with Chinese cabbage, cucumber and chicken breast

Fresh and very filling salad.

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled chicken fillet – 300 g.
  2. Beijing cabbage – 500 g.
  3. Egg – 4 pcs.
  4. Cucumber – 2 pcs.
  5. Sweet pepper – 1 pc.
  6. Mayonnaise (sour cream).
  7. Ground pepper.
  8. Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Chop cabbage, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes into strips.
  2. Chop or separate chicken meat into fibers.
  3. Mash the boiled eggs or grate them on a coarse grater.
  4. Combine the products, add salt, pepper, chopped herbs and season with mayonnaise or sour cream.

With grapes


Ingredients:

  • 400 gr. chicken fillet.
  • 1 head of Chinese cabbage.
  • 150 gr. dark grapes (seedless).
  • 30 gr. pistachios.
  • Vegetable oil - for frying.
  • 3-4 tbsp. spoons of mayonnaise.
  • Salt, black pepper, curry - to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Separate the chicken breast from the skin and veins, cut into small cubes and fry in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Separate the lettuce leaves from the stalk and cut into strips, chop the grapes, finely chop the pistachios (separating them from the peel in advance).
  3. Combine all the ingredients together, seasoning everything with mayonnaise. Salad ready!

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of Chinese cabbage.
  • 300 gr. chicken fillet.

  • Peking cabbage – 500 g.
  • Canned corn – 250 g.

  1. Finely chop the cabbage.
