My favorite chicken meat is the breast. This part of the carcass is considered dietary, so I often cook it for myself. Yes, and dishes from it are quickly made, but they turn out very tasty.

Classic chicken in creamy sauce in a frying pan

Sauce is an indispensable assistant in the kitchen, because with its help you can change the usual taste of a dish. There are many recipes for making dressings, but the most versatile for chicken meat is cream sauce. Cream is used as the basis for its preparation. The fatter they are, the richer the dressing will be.

Ingredients:

  • 600 g chicken;
  • 150 ml cream;
  • bulb;
  • tomato;
  • two tablespoons of butter;
  • two sweet peppers;
  • spices (pepper, salt, dried dill or basil).


Cooking method:
  1. You can use any parts of chicken to prepare the dish, but we will use meat from chicken breasts. We wash it, dry it and cut it into cubes.
  2. Chop onions, tomatoes and peppers into half rings.
  3. In a frying pan, begin to fry the onions with the addition of vegetable oil and a small amount of butter.
  4. As soon as the onion is slightly browned, add chicken pieces to it, turn up the heat and fry the meat until golden brown.
  5. Now add the rest of the vegetables, season the dish with spices, simmer over low heat for 5 minutes and pour in the cream.
  6. As soon as the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat and simmer the dish for another 5 minutes.

Cream is not just a dessert

Cream is rarely used in Russian cuisine, unlike French, where not a single dish is complete without cream: be it a roast or a dessert.

We are used to seeing cream in confectionery products, but modern multiculturalism allows us to try food from different countries of the world. So why not cook such a wonderful dish as creamy chicken in a frying pan?

First, let's deal with cream. They must have the correct fat content, always more than 30%, otherwise the richness of the dish’s flavor will suffer.

By the way, you can sometimes replace cream with high-fat sour cream, but you should know that it gives sourness, which is not present in cream, so it’s up to you.

Recipe with mushrooms

Sometimes, when preparing poultry dishes, unpleasant situations occur when the meat turns out bland and dry. This is especially common if you use frozen chicken. To avoid worries, it is better to cook the bird in sauce. The meat is especially tender in a creamy sauce with the addition of mushrooms.

Ingredients:

  • ½ kg chicken meat;
  • 220 g champignons;
  • two tablespoons of butter;
  • two tsp. flour;
  • two onions;
  • 150 ml cream;
  • 100 ml chicken broth;
  • spices.

Cooking method:

  1. Cut the chicken meat into cubes, onions and champignons into strips. If you use dry mushrooms, you must first soak them in cold water and only then cook them.
  2. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown, put them in a bowl, and add the onion to the frying pan and fry it until half cooked.
  3. Then add the mushrooms to the onions and cook until all the moisture has evaporated.
  4. Now mix the mushrooms with onions and chicken and pour in the cream, which must first be thoroughly mixed with flour.
  5. Add any spices and herbs, mix and cook the meat in the creamy mushroom sauce until it thickens.

Basic recipe

You will need a basic recipe; to prepare the dish you will need:

  • chicken fillet;
  • heavy cream;
  • butter;
  • salt;
  • nutmeg.

Based on this recipe, you can prepare many different dishes by adding garlic, mushrooms, wine, cheese, etc.

Since we are preparing a dish called creamy chicken in a frying pan, its recipe without a good frying pan will not be ideal. It is better to take one with a non-stick coating. If you don't have one, get a regular one.

Melt the butter over low heat, then carefully place the fillet cut into small pieces. Fry on all sides, add salt. While the chicken is roasting, stir the cream and nutmeg. When the fillet turns golden brown, you can add the sauce. Simmer the chicken in the cream for five minutes and you can turn off the heat. Your dish is ready!

In creamy garlic sauce

  • 180 ml cream;
  • five cloves of garlic;
  • 1 tsp. flour;
  • oil, salt, spices.

Cooking method:

  1. Cut the chicken meat into large pieces, season with spices and fry over medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. Add chopped garlic, flour and any aromatic herbs of your choice to the cream. Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps.
  3. Add the sauce to the chicken, bring it to a boil, and then simmer the meat over low heat for 5 - 7 minutes.

The best spices for chicken

Need some spices! First of all, nutmeg. It goes well with cream. In principle, you can get by with just it and salt if you don’t plan to add any other ingredients to the chicken. If you want to add, for example, mushrooms to the chicken fillet, then curry seasoning is good for this.

Creamy chicken fillet in a frying pan will go perfectly with white wine or wine vinegar. These ingredients must be added to the meat in a certain proportion.

Cooking from chicken fillet

Chicken fillet is prepared in different ways. It is baked, stewed and used in preparing other dishes. But the most unique and delicious is chicken fillet in a creamy sauce in a frying pan. If you prepare a side dish for it, you will have a complete, mouth-watering dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken fillet;

  • 1 tsp. flour;
  • a glass of cream;

Some housewives sprinkle the dish with grated cheese at the end of cooking stewed chicken. You can also add a variety of vegetables during the stewing process, such as zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant, carrots, and tomatoes. Then the end result will be chicken immediately with a side dish. From seasonings, you can also safely add ready-made Dijon mustard, ground white pepper, mustard, bay leaf, dried garlic, coriander to the dish, and from herbs - parsley, rosemary, coriander.

Chicken with white wine turns out very tasty. To do this, just add a small amount of fortified drink to the creamy sauce. Instead of cream, you can safely use sour cream. It will curdle a little during cooking, but this will not affect the taste at all. It is advisable to simmer the chicken over low heat.

  • two cloves of garlic;
  • a glass of milk;
  • a glass of cream;
  • two spoons of flour;
  • salt, pepper, herbs.

Cooking method:

  1. We pass the chicken meat together with onions and carrots through a meat grinder. Add the egg, chopped garlic and spices, mix.
  2. We make balls from the minced meat, sprinkle them with flour and fry on both sides until golden brown.
