The preparation of this treat includes three simple steps: kneading a simple dough, preparing the ingredients for the filling and forming the product itself. I want to offer you two simple recipes with step-by-step photos of preparing pizza with champignons in the oven and in a frying pan. I will also tell you how to prepare champignons for pizza and what additional ingredients go best with these mushrooms.
So, let's get down to the interesting, but uncomplicated process of preparing a fragrant, satisfying and lush treat!
Classic pizza dough recipe
The dough in the finished pizza should be thin, with a crispy crust around the edges.
In order for the base to meet these characteristics, you must follow the rules for its preparation.
What ingredients will you need?
To create a classic base you need:
- flour. You only need to purchase an ingredient of excellent quality - 450 g;
- water without impurities – 250 silt;
- yeast. You should use early ripening granulated yeast - 5 g;
- extra salt – 7 g;
- granulated sugar. You should use a white product – 5 g;
- oil. You need to buy natural olive oil (when using sunflower oil, the dough in the finished product turns out dry) - 50 ml.
If you create “flatbreads” with a diameter of about 27 cm, you can make 7 pizzas from the finished dough.
Step-by-step cooking process
The rules and stages of designing the basis are as follows:
- Pour salt, granulated yeast and granulated sugar into a bowl with high walls. Mix bulk ingredients.
- Heat the water to about 35 degrees and pour it into the bowl with the bulk ingredients. Stir the solution until all components are dissolved.
- Next, you need to pour oil into the prepared solution. Mix the ingredients.
- Next, you need to saturate the flour with oxygen using a sieve. It is advisable to carry out manipulations at least 2 times.
- You need to add flour into the dough piece in parts. Initially, the ingredients should be mixed in a bowl using a spatula. Approximately 2/3 of the flour is spent.
- Then you need to pour the remaining flour onto the table and place the dough on the flour. Continue kneading with your hands until the base becomes elastic and stops sticking to your palms. On average, the process lasts about 10 minutes.
- Place the finished base in a bag and keep warm for approximately 1 hour.
- Then the bag of dough must be placed in the refrigerator for about 4-12 hours.
- It is recommended to knead the dough for at least 5 minutes before rolling out. Then you should divide the base into the required number of parts.
If desired, the finished dough cakes can be frozen in the freezer. Before cooking pizza, you just need to defrost them.
Description of preparation:
Pizza with fresh mushrooms, in my case champignons, is very quick and easy to prepare.
It can be used as bread, as a snack, and as a separate hot dish. How to make pizza with fresh mushrooms? 1. Mix sifted flour (be sure to sift) and baking powder in a bowl. Add water and olive oil to a bowl. Knead the dough - dump it on a table sprinkled with flour and knead until an elastic and fairly soft dough forms. 2. Wash the champignons and cut into slices. 3. Turn on the oven at 190-200 degrees. Roll out the dough to the size of a large baking sheet, line the baking sheet with parchment and place the rolled out pizza base on it. 4. Sprinkle the base with plenty of cheese. 5. Place champignons on the cheese. Pepper and salt to taste. I recommend using freshly ground pepper. 6. Pizza recipe with champignons and sausage
Pizza with champignon mushrooms (the recipe at home can be varied by adding several types of sausage) turns out tastier and more aromatic when using fresh mushrooms.
What ingredients will you need?
To prepare 2 large pizzas you need:
- dough. The product can be bought or kneaded in advance - 700 g;
- high quality smoked sausage – 50 g;
- premium quality boiled-smoked sausage – 120 g;
- Champignon. Mushrooms must be purchased fresh and with caps not fully opened - 150 g;
- onion. The weight of the ingredient should be about 100 g - 2 pcs.;
- dry oregano – 8-10 g;
- tomato sauce or ketchup – 80-100 g;
- pickled bell pepper. The product is optional – 1 piece;
- oil made from olives – 20 ml;
- cheese. The product should melt well and not have any flavoring additives - 150 g;
- vegetable oil. Required for coating a baking sheet - 20-30 ml.
If desired, you can add about 50 g of boiled sausage to the filling; the product must also be of proven quality.
Step-by-step cooking process
When using ready-made dough to design a product, the process will consist of the following points:
- The dough needs to be divided into 2 pieces. One piece of dough should be placed in a bag, otherwise it will dry out during the preparation of the first pizza.
- The remaining piece of dough must be formed into a thin and round layer. It is advisable to stretch the dough with your hands rather than using a rolling pin.
- Place the dough on a baking sheet (it must be greased with vegetable oil in advance) and coat it with about 10 ml of olive oil.
- The dough should be evenly coated with tomato sauce on top of the butter (about 40-50 g is required).
- Then you need to cut all types of sausages into thin wheels, arrange the mushrooms into slices, and pickle bell peppers into small strips.
- The onion should be peeled, cut into circles, and each circle should be disassembled into rings.
- Next, you need to lay sliced sausage on top of the tomato sauce (alternating types of sausage), then mushroom.
- Sprinkle the ingredients with dry oregano, then add the pickled peppers and onion rings.
- Grate the cheese and distribute it evenly over the filling.
- The product should be baked for about 8-10 minutes, while the heat in the oven should be about 230 degrees.
You can cut and serve the pizza right away.

Pizza with mushrooms and champignons, recipe with olives and mozzarella.
The product is distinguished by its rich nutritional composition and lower energy value.
What ingredients will you need?
To create one mushroom vegetarian pizza we use:
- dough. It is advisable to use pre-formed classic dough - 350-400 g;
- onion head weighing approximately 100-120 g - 1 pc.;
- garlic. If possible, use a product from a fresh harvest - 3 slices;
- high-quality tomato paste – 200 g;
- Champignon. You will need fresh mushrooms - 150 g;
- granulated sugar – 25 g;
- ground pepper – 0.5 g;
- “strong” large tomato – 1 pc.;
- Mozzarella. It is important that the ingredient is natural – 150 g;
- Parmesan. The cheese must be from a trusted manufacturer - 70 g;
- refined sunflower oil – 30 ml.
For decoration, use olives cut in half, as well as 5 leaves of fresh arugula.
Step-by-step cooking process
The design scheme for vegetarian mushroom pizza is as follows:
- First of all, you need to peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and onion.
- Fry the onion-garlic mixture in a frying pan with oil until browned.
- Next, you should reduce the heat and add tomato paste to the frying (if the paste is very thick, you can add about 30 ml of water). Simmer the ingredients with regular stirring for about 3 minutes.
- Then you need to add granulated sugar and ground pepper into the contents of the frying pan. Stir the ingredients until the sugar dissolves. After this, the sauce should be removed from the heat and allowed to cool well.
- While the sauce is cooling, you need to cut the tomato into slices and the champignons into slices.
- Mozzarella should be cut into thin squares and Parmesan should be grated.
- After this you need to decorate the pizza. First you need to give the dough the appearance of a round and thin layer and place it on a baking sheet.
- Coat the dough with the cooled sauce and place the mushrooms on the sauce.
- Place tomato slices and mozzarella squares on top of the mushrooms.
- Next, you need to add halves of olives and arugula, torn by hand.
- Sprinkle the filling with Parmesan.
Bake vegetarian mushroom pizza for about 15 minutes. The heat in the oven should be about 200-210 degrees.
Pizza recipe with champignons and two types of cheese
Pizza with mushrooms (champignons), the recipe for which is easy to repeat at home, will be even tastier if you prepare the tomato sauce yourself and use 2 types of cheese for the filling.
Preparation next.
What ingredients will you need?
To create one pizza you need to prepare:
- dough. It is recommended to knead the base approximately 4 hours before designing the product - 350 g;
- Mozzarella cheese or other well-melting cheese – 60 g;
- blue cheese. The product should be purchased from a trusted manufacturer - 80 g;
- marinated champignons – 100 g;
- cherry or small variety tomatoes – 80 g;
- basil. You need fresh green basil leaves.
You will also need tomato sauce (approximately 40-50 g), the composition of which is listed below.
To make the sauce you need:
- high-quality ready-made tomato puree/paste – 250 ml;
- premium olive oil – 15 ml;
- white granulated sugar – 2.5 g;
- fine salt – 1 g;
- garlic. The fresher the product, the more aromatic the paste will be - 1 slice;
- dry basil – 1 g;
- dry oregano – 2-3 g;
- dry red hot pepper – 0.5 g
The listed list of sauce ingredients produces more than is required. The product can be stored in the refrigerator or used for the next time you make pizza. The sauce also goes perfectly with pasta and meat dishes.
Step-by-step cooking process
The stages of designing a product with 2 types of cheese and homemade tomato paste are as follows:
- First you need to create the sauce. For the sauce, you need to put tomato puree/paste in a saucepan. You can make your own tomato puree from fresh tomatoes. To do this, you need to grate the fruits, and then pass the resulting pulp through a sieve to remove the seeds.
- Add olive oil to the tomato puree and place the saucepan on a burner with moderate heat.
- After the contents boil, the fire power must be reduced so that the contents bubble slightly. You need to “cook” the tomato puree for about 20 minutes with occasional stirring.
- While the tomato puree is simmering, peel and chop the garlic clove.
- After 20 minutes, you need to add granulated sugar, garlic, salt, as well as dry basil, hot pepper and oregano to the saucepan. Stir the contents and simmer the sauce for about 5 minutes. Further manipulations should be continued when the sauce has cooled completely.
- Next, you need to stretch the dough with your hands into a thin and round layer with a diameter of approximately 30 cm.
- Place the dough into the prepared pan.
- After this, the base needs to be coated with cooled tomato sauce (no need to coat it greasy).
- Then you need to cut the cherry tomatoes into 2 parts, and break the blue cheese into small pieces with your hands.
- Mozzarella should be cut into small thin squares, and basil leaves should be torn with your hands.
- Champignons should be placed in a colander and rinsed with cool water. Allow the water to drain completely.
- Cut the mushrooms into slices. To prevent the mushrooms from bending, you should use a very sharp knife.
- Place slices of marinated champignons on top of the tomato sauce.
- Between the champignons you need to put halves of cherry tomatoes and pieces of blue cheese.
- Place mozzarella and basil leaves on top of the mushrooms and tomatoes.
It takes approximately 15 minutes to bake the product, at an oven temperature of about 220 degrees.

How to cook pizza with champignons
- Prepare pizza dough from 2 cups flour, dry yeast and water. Once the dough has risen, stretch it onto a lightly oiled pizza pan.
- Pizza with champignons can be on a thin and slightly crispy dough, then you need to let the dough sit for 10-15 minutes and then lay out the filling. If you prefer a fluffy and soft dough, let the pizza dough rest under a napkin for more than 30 minutes.
- Prick the dough with a fork in several places so that the steam formed under the dough does not raise the pizza. Brush the dough with tomato sauce. It is better not to use tomato paste and, of course, ketchup. Homemade tomato sauce is easy to make yourself and does not take much time. In the simplest version, grind 100 g of canned tomatoes or a glass of natural tomato juice in a blender with a clove of garlic, a sprig of basil and a pinch of nutmeg. add salt and pepper to taste and simmer with 1 tbsp. l. olive oil in a frying pan until the tomato sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle the dough coated with tomato sauce with very finely chopped herbs.
- Arrange slices of thinly sliced fresh tomato and sprinkle with dry oregano.
- Wash the champignons, dry with a napkin and cut into very thin slices. Place the sliced mushrooms evenly on the pizza and press lightly with your palm. Sprinkle the pizza with capers.
- Brush the mushrooms with olive oil.
- Grate the Parmesan cheese onto a fine grater until it completely covers the entire pizza with champignons.
- Place the pizza in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Pizza with champignons is baked for 20 minutes. But after 15 minutes, you should check the readiness of the dough by lifting the edge of the pizza with a knife and, as soon as the bottom of the dough begins to brown well, the pizza is ready.
- Cut the finished pizza into 6-8 pieces with a knife.
- Pieces of pizza can be eaten with your hands, or you can place them on plates and garnish with basil. Serve the pizza hot.
