- 1 kilogram of regular wheat flour;
- 1 packet of dry yeast;
- pepper and salt to taste.
For the filling you need to take:
- 8 boiled eggs;
- 100 grams of green onions;
- 50 grams of butter;
- salt to taste.
Preparation:
- For the dough, all the eggs are broken into a deep container and beaten with a mixer, a whisk, or just two forks with salt until a thick foam appears.
- Carefully add 50 grams of butter, 50 grams of vegetable oil, kefir or yogurt to the resulting mixture.
- Flour is mixed with pepper and dry yeast. The resulting mixture is added to the egg mass and mixed thoroughly.
- The dough is allowed to rise twice, with the obligatory increase in volume by approximately two times. The finished mass should lag well behind your hands. If it remains liquid, add a little more flour.
- For the filling, all the products listed in the recipe are finely chopped and mixed into a homogeneous mass.
- The dough is divided into individual pieces, approximately the size of a fist. The pie blank is rolled out to a thickness of 5-6 millimeters.
- Place the filling on it and carefully pinch the edges. After a short proofing, the surface of the pie is greased with vegetable oil or egg.
- Bake in a hot oven for 25-30 minutes, gradually reducing the heat.
Pies with eggs and herbs in a frying pan
A more interesting and rich filling is obtained if you add fried onions to it. In this case, yeast dough is more suitable for the pie. Knead it yourself - it's not difficult.
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of dry yeast;
- 600 gr. flour;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- a pinch of salt;
- 5 eggs;
- 1 tsp vinegar 9%;
- a bunch of greens - dill, parsley, green onions;
- 2 onions;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Preparation:
- Dissolve the yeast in a glass of warm water.
- Add 1 egg, vinegar, sugar and a little salt. Stir.

- 0.5 cups of kefir;
- 0.5 cups sour cream;
- 0.5 teaspoon salt;

- Heat kefir to room temperature. Add 1 egg. Add a pinch of salt.

- 1 tsp granulated sugar;

- 3 cups wheat flour;

Preparation:
- Heat the milk to about 40 degrees Celsius. Add sugar, salt and 2-3 tablespoons of flour to it. Add yeast and let rise. After 20-30 minutes, the dough will approximately double in volume.
- Pour all the remaining flour into the risen dough, add eggs, vegetable oil, mix thoroughly and leave to rise again for about 40 minutes. Cover the container with the dough with a towel or cling film.
- When choosing to make puff pastry pies, the easiest way is to use semi-finished products that have already been prepared industrially.
- A quick option is to prepare kefir dough. You need to take equal parts of kefir and sour cream, about 0.5 cups each. Some housewives replace sour cream with mayonnaise.
