Cooking a delicious pie step by step

  1. Mix flour with sugar, butter, salt. Rub thoroughly with your hands until crumbly.
  2. Add the egg yolk and stir.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of cold water. Knead the dough. Thanks to water, it should become plastic.
  4. Place the dough in a bag or cling film and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Grate the zest of two lemons on a fine grater.
  6. Squeeze the juice from 4 lemons. To prevent pits from getting in, strain through a sieve.
  7. Using a blender, combine lemon juice, condensed milk, yolks and lemon zest. This will be our filling.
  8. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out and put it into the mold. I use a mold with a diameter of 27 cm.
  9. Make sides 1.5-2 cm high. If they are higher, they may fall during baking.
  10. Before the oven, poke holes with a fork to prevent the crust from puffing up.
  11. Place the pan with the dough in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. First baking time is 20 minutes.
  12. Take out the pan with the pie base. Mix the cream in a blender again and pour into the mold.
  13. Place the filled pie in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  14. We take out the pie, cool it at room temperature for 30 minutes and then put it in the refrigerator.

In a couple of hours the pie will be ready. I usually prepare it the night before and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. be decorated with mint, cream, or fruit if desired .
