A very beautiful and tasty potato casserole with meat and tomatoes, baked under a cheese crust. The meat is cooked in sour cream sauce and additionally soaked in tomato juice. It becomes very soft, tender and simply melts in your mouth.

Ingredients:


  • 1 kg - potatoes
  • 500 g - any meat
  • 1 PC. - onion
  • 4-5 cloves - garlic
  • 3 tbsp. l. - sour cream
  • 2 pcs. - tomatoes
  • 1-2 pcs. - eggs
  • 150 g - hard cheese
  • small bunch of green onions
  • salt, spices for meat and potatoes - to taste

Cooking steps:

  1. We do not cut the meat into large pieces. If you wish, you can soak the meat in milk, it will become even softer and more delicate in taste.

    The recipe uses chicken, but you can use beef or pork.

  2. Slice the potatoes as thin as possible.

    It is important! So that it has time to bake with the rest of the products.

  3. Cut tomatoes and onions into half rings.

  4. Let's prepare the sauce: beat eggs, sour cream into a bowl, add garlic passed through a press, salt and spices to taste. Mix everything well.

  5. Assembling the casserole. Grease the bottom of the refractory mold with butter or vegetable oil. Place potatoes as the first layer, then onions.

  6. The third layer is pieces of meat.

  7. Place the tomatoes in the last layer and pour sour cream sauce over them. Send to bake for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.

  8. 5 minutes before readiness, take out the pan and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Probably everyone who went to kindergarten still remembers what delicious dishes were served for lunch. They were prepared according to specially developed technological maps so that they were not only tasty, but also healthy. Therefore, potatoes and meat are used boiled. To avoid anything fried or heavy on the stomach in baby food.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg - potatoes
  • 1 PC. - raw egg
  • 0.5 kg - meat (pulp)
  • 1 PC. - onion

  • 100 ml - milk

How to cook:

  1. Cook any meat (beef, pork or chicken) in salted water until tender.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into halves to speed up the cooking process. Salt to taste and cook until done.

    You can check readiness with a knife or fork (they should go into the vegetable easily).

  3. When the potatoes are cooked, drain them and use a masher to puree them. Add a piece of butter and warm milk. Mix everything well so that there are no lumps. Lastly, add the raw egg. To prevent it from curdling, immediately stir the mixture and taste for salt. If necessary, add more salt.

    It is important! Before breaking an egg, be sure to wash it with soap so that the microbe Salmonella, which is difficult for the digestive system, does not get from the shell.

  4. Cut the onion into small cubes and saute a little in butter until soft.

    If your child doesn't like onions, you don't have to add them to the dish.

  5. Pass the boiled meat through a meat grinder, add onion to it and mix. By the way, if you don’t want to allow anything fried, you can pass the onion raw through a meat grinder after the meat. Add a little water or broth to the minced meat and simmer lightly until the onion becomes soft. If you added fried onions, just warm the mixture a little so that it becomes more viscous.   • 200 g - hard cheese
  • 1 kg - minced meat
  • 1 kg - potatoes
  • 400 g - champignons
  • mayonnaise - to taste
  • vegetable oil - for frying

Cooking sequence:

  1. We cut the champignons into slices and fry them in a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry until excess liquid has evaporated, then salt the mushrooms to taste.

  2. Let's prepare onion and carrot frying. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and chop the onion into cubes. Saute the vegetables together in a frying pan until softened.

  3. Boil the meat in the broth until tender. Then twist through a meat grinder.

    You can simply cut it into small pieces or disassemble it into fibers.

  4. Cut the potatoes into thin slices on a special grater. If you don’t have one on your farm, we just try to cut the tubers into thin slices.
  5. Grease a baking dish with oil and place potato slices on the bottom.

The dish with such an unusual name actually appeared two centuries ago. It was invented by an innkeeper from Siberia, whose name was Khariton, and his friends, even more simply, Kharya. In addition to potatoes and meat, the recipe includes white cabbage, which can be used either fresh or pickled.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg - raw potatoes
  • 400 g - minced meat
  • 200 g - fresh cabbage
  • 2 pcs. - onions
  • salt, pepper and seasonings - to taste
  • butter - to taste
  • vegetable oil - for frying

Description of the recipe:

  1. Cut some of the potatoes into thin strips. We also chop the cabbage thinly.

  2. Cut the onion into small cubes and saute until golden in a frying pan well heated with vegetable oil.

  3. Using a coarse grater, grate the remaining potatoes. Place it in a colander, add salt and leave for 10 minutes so that the vegetable releases excess juice. Then squeeze it out of the juice with your hands.
  4. Add shredded cabbage, minced meat, and fried onions to the chopped potatoes. Salt, pepper, add your favorite seasonings to taste and mix. The casserole filling is ready.

  5. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place half of the grated potatoes on the bottom (squeezing the juice out of it with your hands). Let's press it well with our hands to compact it a little and make sides.

  6. Add the cabbage and meat filling and spread out a few pieces of butter.

Tip: If the casserole starts to burn, cover the top with foil.

Boiled potato option

For this option, you will have to pay more attention to food preparation. But the baking time is reduced. You will place the already cooked ingredients into the oven.

Cooking potatoes

  • rinse it under the pressure of a cold stream from the tap, clean

  • rinse again, pour cold water into the cooking vessel
  • put the peeled potatoes there

  • Pour vegetable oil into a thick-bottomed frying pan and heat over medium heat
  • add the chopped onion and process for five minutes, stirring regularly
  • when it becomes soft and transparent, add the minced meat, stir for two minutes
  • add some salt
  • Finely chop the greens and throw them in
  • mix again and add spices (according to the recipe or a special composition for meat dishes)
  • Stir the meat regularly for 5-10 minutes until it changes color
  • when cooked, turn off the burner and let the pan cool
  • set the oven to preheat to 180 degrees

Compound

  • grease the selected baking dish, place half of the potato mixture on the bottom
  • Place the cooled roasted meat and onions on top
  • cover this layer with the remaining puree, smooth it out with a spoon
