Potatoes with minced meat in a frying pan (the recipe is quite simple) are prepared as follows:

  1. First you need to rinse the potatoes in cold water, peel them and cut them into medium-sized slices. Afterwards, the potatoes need to be washed again to get rid of excess starch and transferred to a colander.
  2. Then you need to peel the onions, rinse and finely chop. You need to pour 50 ml of sunflower oil into a deep frying pan, heat it, put the potatoes cut into slices into the hot oil and fry them for 20 minutes. until golden, turning it every 5 minutes.
  3. Next, you need to prepare another frying pan by greasing it with 30 ml of sunflower oil, place minced chicken with chopped onion in it, add 1/2 tsp. table salt, mix thoroughly and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  4. Now you can transfer the fried minced meat with onions to the potatoes, add a little more table salt, mix well and simmer for about 5 minutes. over low heat. Afterwards, you will need to close the pan with a lid, remove it from the heat and leave it like that for 5 minutes.

What can I add?

You can add garlic, sour cream or mayonnaise, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, cabbage, eggplants or zucchini, wild mushrooms or champignons, green beans, peas, cheese to the dish. Vegetable oil can be replaced with olive or butter.

How to serve a dish

The dish is laid out on portioned plates, decorated with herbs, supplemented with fresh or pickled vegetables and served.

Potato zrazy with minced meat - recipe for cooking in a frying pan

Do you want to feed your household tasty and satisfying, while spending a little time on cooking? Then make potato zrazy. These are ordinary pies, only boiled potatoes are used instead of dough.

And as a filling you can use minced meat, mushrooms or cabbage fried in oil, green onions with eggs. Or you can fill them with cheese. This dish will be an excellent solution for dinner, as well as for the lunch table.

Children who do not like to eat potatoes in their usual form will especially like zrazy. But rosy and delicious cutlets with an interesting filling inside will definitely suit their taste. Moreover, you can change the filling for them every time. It is not for nothing that such a dish is often included in the menu in kindergartens, starting from the age of one and a half years.

In this recipe I suggest using minced meat. However, the raw meat filling will not have time to cook well while the pies are being fried. Therefore, it is better to use boiled meat minced through a meat grinder, or pre-fry the prepared minced meat in a frying pan with onions. Or you can buy ready-made minced meat and make the filling with it. I'll tell you more in the recipe, join me!

Potato zrazy with minced meat in a frying pan

There are many recipes for making potato zrazas. The only difference is the filling. But there are only two ways of cooking: in a frying pan and in the oven. In my opinion, they can be cooked faster in a frying pan.

This is a good solution for leftover mashed potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 8 -10 pcs. (depending on the size of the tubers),
  • Chicken eggs – 1-2 pcs.,
  • Flour – 3-4 tbsp. l.,
  • Nutmeg – 0.5 tsp,
  • Butter – 50 g.,
  • Vegetable oil for frying.

For filling:

  • Minced meat - 300 g,
  • Onions – 1 pc.,
  • Vegeta seasoning or your favorite seasonings - 0.5 tsp,
  • Salt - to taste.

You can use any meat for the filling. To make the filling juicier, it is better to use minced pork, or pork and beef, or mix it with chicken.

How to cook potato zrazy with minced meat - step-by-step recipe

Step 1. Peel the potatoes, fill them with water, add salt and cook on the fire. This step will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Step 2. While the vegetable is cooking, prepare the filling. Peel and finely chop the onion. Fry it until transparent in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

Step 3. As soon as the onion begins to brown, add the minced meat to it and fry everything together over medium heat until tender, stirring occasionally. Add salt, and pepper if necessary. I also added Vegeta. The frying process will release juices, so fry the filling until all the moisture has evaporated. Otherwise, the juice will flow out of the zraza during its preparation.

If you add Vegeta, be aware that it is salty. In this case, add less salt to the filling or eliminate it altogether.

Step 4. By this point, the potatoes should already be cooked. Check its readiness with a knife. If it sticks in easily, the vegetable is cooked. We drain the vegetable broth; we don’t need it. Add a piece of butter to the pan, cover with a lid, wait 1-2 minutes for the butter to melt.

Step 5. Using a masher, mash the potatoes until smooth. And leave for a minute or two so that the mass cools down a little.

Step 6. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add it to the slightly cooled puree, so the egg does not immediately curdle.

Add nutmeg, you can add your favorite spices or special ones for potatoes, as well as flour. Mix everything again to get a homogeneous thick mass.

Step 7. Place cling film on the cutting board, this will make it easier for you to work with the potato dough. Pour a little vegetable oil into a separate cup and wet your palms with it, so the dough will not stick to your hands. Using a spoon or your hand, take a portion of the puree and use your hands to form a cake out of it, no more than 1 cm thick. Place the cake on cling film and place a spoonful of filling in the middle.

Step 8. Then, lifting the film, lift the edge of the cake and wrap it so that it turns out to be a pie. We put the film back.

We take the workpiece with oiled hands, connect the edges of the pie and form it immediately.

Step 9. Fry the finished semi-finished products in a frying pan heated with oil until golden brown, first on one side, then turn over and fry on the other side.

To ensure that the side walls of the pie are also golden brown, press them against the side wall of the frying pan or pour a little more oil for frying.

Step 10. Place the finished potato pies on a flat plate covered with a paper towel to absorb excess fat. And then transfer to a serving plate and serve.

Gravy for potato zrazas with minced meat

Serve the finished zrazy with sour cream, milk sauce or sour cream and garlic sauce.

Milk sauce

  • Butter – 1 tbsp. l.,
  • Wheat flour – 1 tbsp. l.,
  • Milk – 200 ml (1 glass).

Melt the butter in a frying pan, add flour to it and fry together. Then add hot milk, stir so that no lumps form. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes until thickened. Add salt to taste and ground black pepper to the sauce, cook for another 5 minutes, and then strain through a strainer. Pour the prepared sauce over the zrazy.

Sour cream garlic sauce

Peel 1-2 cloves of garlic, chop it using a press and add to the sour cream. Add finely chopped dill or parsley, mix, add salt to taste and the sauce is ready!

With cheese

Ready-made potato rolls should be served hot, garnishing the portions with parsley leaves.

To prepare potato rolls with minced meat and cheese, you need to take the following ingredients:

  • 5 potato tubers;
  • 500 g minced chicken;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 egg;
  • 2 tbsp. l. sour cream;
  • 4 tbsp. l. flour;
  • 140 g cheese;
  • 3 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
  • 1/2 tsp. table salt;
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper.

  1. The first step is to rinse the potatoes in running water, peel them with a vegetable peeler and chop them using a fine-hole grater.
  2. Then you can peel the onion, cut it into 2 parts and chop half in the same way. Place the grated vegetables in a bowl along with the released juice, add half the salt, flour and break the egg. The components will need to be mixed with a spoon until a single mass is formed.
  3. Next, you should heat the frying pan, grease it with sunflower oil and lay out 1/5 of the resulting mass, distributing it evenly over the entire bottom of the frying pan. The potato cake must be fried on both sides until golden brown. The remaining tortillas must be fried in the same way.

  4. Now you need to prepare the filling. To do this, you will need to chop 80 g of cheese on a fine grater, pour it into a bowl, and add minced chicken. You also need to add the remaining onion, after first grinding it through a meat grinder, add the remaining salt, freshly ground pepper and thoroughly mix all the ingredients until smooth.
  5. Afterwards, you can place a potato cake on a cutting board, cover it evenly with the filling and wrap the workpiece in a roll. The remaining rolls should be assembled in the same way and placed in a fireproof baking dish.
  6. Then the rolls can be poured with sour cream and sprinkled with the remaining cheese, chopping it on a grater. The oven must be preheated to 200 °C, place the rolls inside and bake them for no more than 40 minutes.

Making pies

A lot of people love pies. They are made with apples, cabbage, and cherries. But not everyone knows how delicious it is if you take potatoes and minced meat as ingredients. Nowadays, many housewives are too lazy to cook, much less bake. This recipe is suitable for them. This will take no more than an hour.

Products needed:

  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • minced meat – 350 g;
  • potatoes – 3 pcs;
  • flour – 4 tbsp.
  • sunflower oil, water - a glass.

Pepper is used for seasoning. And, of course, you can’t do without salt. First the flour is sifted. The dough is kneaded in water and sunflower oil is added. Once cooked, it is placed in a cold place. Potatoes, cut into cubes and small circles, are thrown into boiling water for a couple of minutes.

Thin onion rings are placed in the minced meat. Add salt to it and season with spices, mix. The dough is taken out of the cold, where it was placed for a quarter of an hour. Then divide into 2 parts. One is rolled out so that the sides can be left in the mold. The filling is placed on top, folding the edges of the dough. To prevent steam from remaining in it, pierce or make a small hole in the center of the cake.

After 40 minutes you can eat.

  2. Then you can peel the onion and grate it in the same way. The onion should be added to the potatoes along with the released juice and minced meat. You also need to break an egg into a bowl, add table salt and ground pepper and mix the ingredients until smooth.
  3. Now you need to form pancakes with your hands; the thickness of the pieces should be no more than 1 cm so that the pieces are evenly fried. Now you can pour sunflower oil into a frying pan, add potato pancakes and fry them over medium heat for about 6 minutes. on both sides, covering the pan with a lid.

Ready potato pancakes with minced meat should be served along with chopped tomatoes.

Useful tips

Standard spices and additions to minced chicken are salt, ground black pepper. You can add chicken spices, which make the taste of the dish brighter and richer.

You can take any form in which the dish will be prepared in the oven - cast iron, metal, glass, ceramic. If the recipe requires it, the container should have high sides. For some recipes, a regular baking sheet is suitable.

Dishes based on potatoes and minced chicken are baked in the oven for an average of 40 minutes. The average temperature is 180 degrees.

The contents of the frying pan need to be transferred to a cauldron along with sunflower oil, add potatoes, pour in water and add salt to the ingredients to taste. Now you can close the cauldron, bring the water to a boil, put on low heat and simmer the ingredients for about 20 minutes.

The finished dish should be served with butter. You can also decorate the dish by sprinkling chopped dill on the potatoes.

Reduce the temperature under the frying pan with potatoes to a minimum. We transfer a small part of the potatoes to a separate plate (for decoration). Add the prepared minced meat to the rest. Level it (or mix it with potatoes).

Place the potatoes on a plate over the entire surface of the fried semi-finished product.

Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Using a fork or whisk, beat them lightly. Add all the milk. Salt the mixture and beat again until smooth.

Pour the prepared egg mixture over the entire surface of the dish. Sprinkle with seasonings and all kinds of herbs. Cover the lid tightly. For twenty minutes we “forget” the frying pan on a very moderately heated stove. After this time, remove the lid and turn off the stove. We put the frying pan on the stand, after five minutes you can start tasting.

  • 500 g minced pork and beef;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 potato tuber;
  • 1 egg;
  • 50 g of a bun (or loaf);
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 4 cannelloni;
  • 100 g champignons;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 4 broccoli florets;
  • 4 tbsp. l. cream 10% fat;
  • 50 g cheese;
  • 2 tsp. table salt.

  1. First you need to prepare the vegetables. The mushrooms also need to be washed, peeled and finely chopped.
  2. Next, you will need to fry the onion cubes in sunflower oil until transparent, then add the champignons and continue frying until the onions are golden. Now you can add the grated carrots along with the broccoli and fry the ingredients for about 2 more minutes.
  3. Then you can pour the cream into the frying pan, simmer the ingredients until thickened, add the grated cheese and let it melt. You need to stuff the cannelloni with the finished filling.
  4. Then you need to grind the remaining onion, peeled garlic cloves and potato tuber through a meat grinder. The bun needs to be soaked in milk, squeezed out and added to the onion mixture along with minced meat. You also need to break an egg into the mixture, add salt and freshly ground pepper and mix the ingredients until smooth.
  5. Now you should cover a cutting board with cling film, place the minced meat on it and form a rectangle out of it. The cannelloni must be placed in the center of the minced meat and wrapped in a tight roll using cling film.
  6. Then you need to grease a baking dish with sunflower oil, place the workpiece on it and send it to the oven, heated to 180 - 200 °C. The roll should be baked for at least 50 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer by piercing the roll in the center. If the cannelloni are not hard, the dish is ready.

Cannelloni casserole should be served by cutting it into portions and garnishing each portion with fresh basil.

Potatoes stuffed with minced meat

The dish turns out tasty and satisfying. You can use any meat for minced meat.

Required:

  • 20 potato tubers;
  • 350-400 gr. meat;
  • egg;
  • 1 onion;
  • 200 gr. cream;
  • 70 gr. butter;
  • salt, pepper to taste;
  • spices for minced meat;
  • 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • 50 ml water.

Recipe:

  • Twist the meat into minced meat.
  • Potatoes must be peeled and washed. It is preferable to choose tubers of the same size. Next, remove the center and, after adding sunflower oil to the baking dish, place the potatoes with the holes facing up. It is better to give preference to a form with high sides.
  • Break an egg into the minced meat, add diced onion and spices. Don't forget to add salt and pepper. You can add either raw or pre-fried onions to the minced meat. Everything needs to be mixed well.
  • Stuff the potatoes with the prepared minced meat.
  • Throw the butter into the pan and wait until it melts. Pour in the cream in small portions, stirring thoroughly. Don't bring to a boil, just warm through.
  • Add water and cream and butter mixture to the baking tray with potatoes. After this, the potatoes can be placed in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

  2. Then you need to add chopped onion to the minced meat, as well as table salt, freshly ground pepper, egg and mix it all thoroughly.
  3. Next, you need to form small cutlets and roll them a little in flour. Then you need to wash the potatoes in running water, peel them and cut them into thick slices. Half the onion should be cut into thin rings, and puree the remaining tomatoes by placing them in a blender.

  4. Tomato puree should be combined with sour cream, a small amount of table salt and freshly ground pepper. Then you need to add water to the ingredients and mix everything well.

  • potatoes – 6–8 pieces, depending on size;
  • one egg and an onion. You can fry the “sorcerers” in lard or vegetable oil.

Grind the potatoes in a food processor. If you don't have one, a grater will do. After this, the mixture is placed on a sieve to drain excess liquid. As a result, starch will settle at the bottom of the dish, which will be used for dough. Minced meat is made in a meat grinder. It is seasoned with pepper and salt.   1. First you need to wash the potatoes, remove the peel, cut into slices 0.5 cm thick, and also wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds with partitions and cut into cubes. Afterwards, you need to grease a non-stick frying pan with sunflower oil, heat it up, add potatoes to it and fry on each side until golden brown.

  2. Place the fried potatoes on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Then you need to wash the eggplant, peel it, cut it into circles, sprinkle them with salt, leave for 15 minutes, drain off the juice, rinse under running water and dry.
  3. Now you need to prepare the zucchini by washing them and cutting them into circles, fry the zucchini and eggplant in turn in a frying pan on each side until golden brown. Afterwards, place them on paper napkins and allow excess oil to drain. Then you need to fry the chopped bell pepper until it turns golden.
  4. Next, you should wash the onion, remove the husk from it and finely chop it. You also need to wash and chop the greens. Then you need to put the minced meat in a bowl, pour in finely chopped onions, spices, herbs, chopped garlic and mix thoroughly.
  5. Then you should knead the minced meat, moisten your hands with water, form cutlets of the same size, place them in a frying pan and fry in the remaining oil until half cooked. You need to fill the selected form with fried vegetables, distribute the cutlets between them and start preparing the sauce.
  6. Pour boiled water into a separate bowl, add granulated sugar, table salt, chopped red pepper, chopped garlic and mix thoroughly.
  7. Afterwards, you need to pour the prepared sauce over the cutlets with vegetables and potatoes, cover the pan with food foil, heat the oven to maximum temperature, place the dish in it and cook for 15 minutes. under foil. Then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes. at a temperature of 180°C until golden, remove from the oven and serve in a mold or portioned plates.

Potatoes with minced meat, cooked in a frying pan or in the oven, are recommended to be supplemented with wine or broth. When preparing potato pancakes, you do not need to use too much flour. Otherwise they will turn out rubbery. Recipes can be varied by adding canned beans.
