Ingredients:

  • flour – 400 g;
  • margarine – 200 g;
  • sugar – 150 g;
  • eggs – 1 pc.

Preparation

Sift the flour, grate the chilled margarine on a coarse grater, grind together with the flour, you should get crumbs. Add 100 g of sugar, the rest will be used for powdering. And then add sour cream and knead the dough. It should be elastic. Wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours. After this time, take out the dough, pinch off a piece, and put the rest in the refrigerator; the margarine in the dough should not melt. Roll out the layer about 0.5 cm thick, cut out figures with molds, grease each of them with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 160-180 degrees for about 15 minutes. It is important here not to dry out the cookies with sour cream, then they will turn out tender inside and crispy on top.

Cookies made from sour cream dough with liqueur and sesame seeds

Ingredients:

  • flour – 350 g;
  • sour cream – 200 ml;
  • butter – 100 g;
  • sugar – 7 tbsp. spoon;
  • liqueur – 60 ml;
  • soda – 1/2 teaspoon;
  • sesame – 40 g;
  • cocoa – 1 tbsp. spoon.

Preparation

Mix the softened butter with sour cream and liqueur, add half the sugar, sesame seeds, sifted flour and soda (there is no need to quench it with vinegar, it will react with the acid contained in the sour cream). Knead the dough, it should not stick to your hands.

Roll out the sour cream cookie dough into a layer, sprinkle with sugar and cocoa, divide the layer in half and roll 2 rolls. We put them in the refrigerator for about an hour and a half. Then we take out the rolls and cut them into pieces about 5 mm thick. Place the resulting circles on a baking sheet greased with oil. You should not place the pieces too close, as the cookies will increase in size during the cooking process. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of about 180 degrees.

If sour cream is sour, you should not eat it to avoid poisoning. But after heat treatment it is quite suitable for consumption. You can bake cookies from sour sour cream. The taste is in no way inferior to similar cookies prepared with fresh sour cream. The only note is that you can add a little more sugar. But this is a matter of taste.
