  1. Wash the cod, dry it, remove the head, tail and fins. Clean the fish from the entrails and cut into small pieces. Place a piece of butter (about 30 g) in a deep frying pan or saucepan with a thick bottom.
  2. Place fish pieces into heated oil and fry them for a minute on each side. Pour boiling water over the cod, add bay leaves and black peppercorns and bring to a boil. Cook the cod for about 15 minutes after boiling.
  3. Place the eggs in a separate pan, cover them with cold water and put on fire. Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes until done. Then drain the boiling water and place the eggs in a saucepan with very cold water and leave until completely cool. Transfer the finished fish to a plate, and strain the broth through a sieve to remove the bay leaves and peppercorns.
  4. Peel the boiled eggs and cut into small cubes. In a bowl, combine the remaining butter (70 g), chopped eggs, about 200 ml of fish broth in which the cod was cooked and mix. Place the bowl of sauce in a water bath.
  5. Cook the Polish sauce for cod for about 2-3 minutes until the butter and broth have a homogeneous consistency. Place the cod pieces on a plate, pour over the sauce and serve. Polish cod goes perfectly with a potato side dish. Bon appetit!

    It can be prepared in different ways, but it turns out especially tasty in Polish. This recipe came to us quite a long time ago, but many housewives do not know how to cook cod according to this recipe.

    Step-by-step process for preparing cod in Polish:

    1. First of all, you need to prepare the cod. The fish is washed well and dried;
    2. We cut off the fish's head, tail, and fins. We clean all the insides and thoroughly wash the top and inside again;

    3. Cut the peeled into medium pieces;
    4. In a frying pan with a thick base, you need to place a 30 gram slice of cow butter and place it on the fire;
